At this Grade II listed building, we installed 59 solar panels, ensuring significant social and environmental benefits for the local community.
The installation, part of a major refurbishment that included a new slate roof, is predicted to produce 21.69 MWh of energy annually.
The project required meticulous planning and coordination with Leeds City Council to maintain the building's historical integrity. This initiative not only powers the institute but also serves as an educational hub, hosting school trips and college students to demonstrate the benefits of renewable energy.
