Associated Clean Technologies is delighted to present our project for Triton Group. We installed an innovative solar photovoltaic (PV) system designed to optimise energy production and enhance sustainability. This installation exemplifies our dedication to delivering high-quality, efficient, and customised solar solutions, even in challenging environments such as slate roofs.
The project involved the installation of 97 solar panels on a slate roof, a task that requires specialised techniques to ensure both effectiveness and structural integrity. To address this, we used Esdec mounting in conjunction with Genius Roof Solutions Solar Flash. This combination provided a secure and reliable method for attaching the solar panels without compromising the delicate slate tiles. The panels were designed with a 50% overlap, allowing us to maximise the available roof space and increase the overall energy generation capacity of the system.
For this installation, we integrated cutting-edge SolarEdge technology, including optimisers, inverters, and metering. The SolarEdge optimisers enhance the efficiency of each panel by mitigating the impact of shading and other performance issues, ensuring optimal energy production. This integration not only boosts the performance and reliability of the system but also allows Triton Group to monitor their energy production and consumption accurately.
The installation of the solar PV system has already demonstrated substantial benefits. In the month of June alone, the solar panels generated enough electricity to cover approximately 74% of Triton Group's consumption. This significant contribution to their energy needs translates to considerable savings on their electricity bills.
Before the installation, our team conducted a thorough analysis of Triton Group's electricity bills and designed the system to include the maximum number of panels possible to effectively offset their energy usage. Initial projections indicate that the business will see a 42% reduction in their electricity bills, a figure we are eager to verify after collecting and analysing 12 months of performance data.
